Sykes headed to Cleveland Caviliers

(WFRV-TV) - If UW-Green Bay's Keifer Sykes was disappointed about not being selected in the 2015 NBA Draft, he did a good job of covering it up on social media afterward.

The Phoenix second all-time leading scorer wrote "Blessing in disguise" on his official Twitter account after being passed up after two rounds.  Sykes said it's "already done" that he will be signing with the Cleveland Cavaliers to play on their Summer League team and try and earn a roster spot with the defending Eastern Conference champions led by Lebron James.

Sykes won back to back Horizon League Player of the Year awards and averaged 18 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4 assists per game as a senior.
